FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE

**DAY 60

FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE**

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 139:14

We must continually magnify our God for His immeasurable wisdom, His creative excellence, and the divine craftsmanship He displayed when He formed humanity. A heart of gratitude should move us just as it moved the Psalmist to praise Him for the wonder of our design.

God formed man with intentionality and precision. When He envisioned man as the masterpiece of His creation, He invested in him creative abilities, spiritual authority, and divine glory. This is why the Psalmist boldly declared, “I am fearfully made.”
Scripture affirms this authority:

“And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast… Into your hands are they delivered.” Genesis 9:2

Beloved, God has endowed us with spiritual authority over marine powers, witchcraft forces, and all forms of darkness. Before the Fall, Adam operated under the full covering of God’s grace, and every creature bowed to him because God had placed a divine fear of man in them.

As for being wonderfully made, the Psalmist again testifies:

“Many, O LORD my God, are Thy wonderful works which Thou hast done… they are more than can be numbered.” Psalm 40:5

Child of God, what makes us both fearfully and wonderfully made goes beyond our physical design. Jesus revealed the deeper truth:

“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God… That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:5–6

The Spirit of God dwelling in the believer is more precious than gold. He is the ornament of glory, the fragrance of divine favour, and the crown of purpose upon a believer’s life. Apostle Paul describes this divine mystery:

“Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27

This indwelling presence is what makes God’s children truly glorious, powerful, and complete.
