DAY 21
THERE SHALL BE NO LOSS OF LIFE
“But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship” – Acts 27:21–22.
Beloved, oftentimes truth is bitter to accept—especially when it comes through prophecy, counsel, or words of wisdom. Scripture reminds us, “the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor. 2:14).
Many have made costly mistakes that robbed them of opportunities, peace, and joy. Some suffer not because they weren’t warned, but because they hardened their hearts and ignored counsel. The Bible warns: “He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy” (Prov. 29:1).
Paul had warned the ship captain and crew not to continue their voyage due to impending danger. Yet pride and professional arrogance blinded them. It was not until the storm became unbearable that they regretted ignoring wise counsel.
Child of God, many today despise God’s voice—some are in early graves, some in prisons, some trapped in spiritual bondage, and others are living in pain because of past choices. But the Lord is merciful. The Spirit of God is saying to you today: “Be of good cheer, for there shall be no loss of your life. What you may have lost is only time, but I, the Lord, will redeem your years and restore your destiny.”
God has overlooked the days of ignorance (Acts 17:30) and is extending grace to redeem your wasted seasons. You will not die prematurely. Your family will not be swallowed by tragedy. Your destiny will not be aborted.
