**DAY 59
THE EXPIRY DATE IS NOW**
“And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.” Acts 7:30
God is never late. He is the Master of seasons, the Lord of timings, the One who prepares His children long before the manifestations of destiny unfold. Before Moses saw the burning bush, heaven had already been preparing him for eighty years. Before Joseph entered Pharaoh’s palace, God had already trained him in silence. Before David sat on the throne, he had learned to worship, war, and wait in the fields.
There are things God prepares you for that you don’t yet see. There are battles you have already been equipped to win—though you haven’t even fought them yet. There are assignments you are ready for, though you may still feel unqualified.
Moses’ life teaches us that divine timing is not human timing. God prepares, processes, positions, and then reveals.
REFLECTIONS
- The Wilderness Is Not Wasted
For Moses, the wilderness was not punishment but preparation.
It was in Midian that:
• His pride was broken
• His patience matured
• His compassion deepened
• His ears were tuned to God’s voice
Your wilderness is not empty it is filled with lessons heaven wants to deposit. What looks like delay is often divine training.
Reflection: What is God cultivating in you in this current season?
- Rejection Can Be Redirection
Moses was rejected by the very people he tried to save. They questioned him:
“Who made thee a ruler and a judge?” (Acts 7:35)
Yet God later sent him back as a ruler and a deliverer.
People’s rejection does not cancel God’s assignment. In fact, sometimes God allows rejection to disconnect you from the wrong place so He can connect you to the right purpose.
Reflection: Who or what did you lose that God used to redirect your life?
- Purpose Has Phases
Moses’ life unfolded in three major forty-year seasons:
1. 40 years in Egypt identity formation
2. 40 years in Midian character preparation
3. 40 years leading Israel destiny manifestation
Each phase was intentional. Each phase was necessary. Each phase carried grace for its time.
You may not be in your manifestation phase yet, but you are certainly in your preparation phase. And the God who guided Moses is guiding you.
Reflection: What phase might you be in right now formation, preparation, or manifestation?
- When Heaven’s Clock Strikes, Everything Changes
At eighty years old, when most would have considered life settled, God started Moses’ destiny. Age did not limit him. Stammering did not disqualify him. His past did not discredit him.
Heaven simply declared:
“Time up for delay. Time on for destiny.”
There is a moment when heaven says: Enough is enough. A moment when purpose overtakes pain. A moment when delay expires. Your expiry moment is coming.
Reflection: What in your life do you sense is reaching its expiry date?
PRAYERS
1. Father, let every wilderness season in my life produce the character needed for my destiny.
2. Lord, speak to me clearly in this season. Open my eyes like Moses to see Your burning bush.
3. Every rejection that has wounded my heart—turn it into redirection towards purpose.
4. O God of appointed times, let my destiny clock strike in my favour.
5. Father, every stagnation, every delay, every closed door its expiry date is NOW.
6. Lord, shift me from preparation into manifestation according to Your divine schedule.
DECLARATIONS
I declare: My wilderness is becoming my training ground for greatness.
I declare: Every form of delay expires today.
I declare: Like Moses, my destiny will speak at the appointed time.
I declare: I am moving from preparation into manifestation.
I declare: God’s hand is upon me, His fire is before me, His grace covers me.
FINAL THOUGHT
Just as Moses’ life was divided into phases, so is yours. You may not understand your current phase, but heaven does. Moses never imagined that the burning bush moment would come but it came. He never imagined that the same people who despised him would be the ones he’d lead—but it happened. He never imagined that despite his weaknesses, he would become God’s chosen instrument but grace made it possible.
God is not finished with you. Your story is not over.
Every delay has an expiry date. Every affliction has a boundary. Every wilderness has an exit door.
And when the appointed time arrives your burning bush will appear, your destiny will open, and everything that once stood against you will bow to God’s purpose for your life.
Hold on. Stay faithful. Keep walking.
Your expiry date is NOW.
