Day 22 – YOU ARE NOT ALONE

DAY 22

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

“Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.” – John 16:32

Child of God, seasons change, and with them come shifting relationships. “A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing” (Ecclesiastes 3:5). There are moments when people who once celebrated you will suddenly withdraw. When you step into the school of tears with God, men will refrain from embracing you.

Jesus Himself declared that His disciples would scatter and leave Him alone. Yet, He added with confidence: “I am not alone, because the Father is with me.” Beloved, whenever men withdraw, it is often God’s way of drawing nearer. Men’s rejection can be heaven’s redirection. The loneliness of man births the embrace of God.

Understand this truth: God’s love on a man often provokes men’s hatred. Humanity struggles to align with divine favor because man and God cannot equally love you at the same level. But here is our consolation—men’s love is conditional and temporary, but God’s love is eternal, unconditional, and unwavering.

Jesus assured us that we are never truly alone. God is the unseen listener in your conversations, the silent witness of your trials, the Judge of your intentions, and your Advocate when no one else speaks for you. He has engraved you on the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:16). In all your afflictions, He is afflicted with you (Isaiah 63:9). When your walls are cracked and broken, He becomes your Repairer and Comforter.

No matter how abandoned you feel, remember: God’s presence is your constant companion.
