DAY 19
WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN THE HOUSE?

“And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil.” – 2 Kings 4:2

Beloved, many people are waiting endlessly for the “big breakthrough,” assuming they must start with much before they can move forward in life. But God is reminding us that increase and greatness often begin with what we already have within reach.

When the prophet’s widow cried out, she despised her “little pot of oil,” thinking it insignificant. Yet, in the hands of God, that oil became the instrument for her miracle. What we often overlook as small, God sees as the seed for multiplication.

From the beginning, our Creator chose to start with one man and one woman, yet today billions exist on the earth. He declared, “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time” (Isaiah 60:22). Never despise the days of small beginnings (Zech. 4:10).

The problem is not what you lack—it is your inability to recognize and use what you already have. The widow already had her miracle in the house, but she needed divine instruction to unlock it. Likewise, your talent, idea, prayer life, skills, connections, or even a simple act of faith may be the “pot of oil” God wants to multiply.

When you put it in His hands and obey His instructions, He takes the little and makes it much. Remember, the same God who fed thousands with five loaves and two fish will breathe on your “little” and cause overflow.

✨ Key Lesson: Don’t underestimate what God has given you. Surrender it to Him, and He will turn your small beginnings into testimonies of abundance.
