DAY 15, PROTOCOL BREAKER

DAY 15

TOPIC: PROTOCOL BREAKER

“And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti” – Esther 2:17.

Beloved, there are times in life when natural order, rules, and systems seem to determine who should rise and who should remain low. But our God is a protocol breaker. He does not need to consult human traditions or social structures to lift a person.

The Preacher observed:
“There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place. I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth” – Ecclesiastes 10:5–7.

Riding on horseback symbolized authority, privilege, and nobility in ancient times. For servants to be on horses while princes walked was a shocking reversal of expected order. It means God can disrupt the natural order and reposition destinies to show forth His sovereignty.

Esther is a vivid example. She was an orphan, a slave, and a foreigner in a strange land—everything was against her. By natural standards, she had no right to the throne. Yet, God bypassed protocols, overturned the decree of culture and tradition, and made her queen over the mighty Persian empire.

Vashti’s fall reminds us that no position is permanent. When pride, rebellion, or overfamiliarity with God’s grace sets in, a person can lose relevance. This is a call to humility: never think your position is by merit alone. Grace enthroned you, and grace must sustain you.

As Hannah rightly declared:
“The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory” – 1 Samuel 2:6–8.

Child of God, remember: behind every Saul is a David waiting for enthronement; behind every Vashti is an Esther prepared for coronation. You are where you are today not because you are the best, but because grace and favour singled you out.

PRAYERS
1. Father, thank You for being the protocol breaker in my life, lifting me beyond human limitations.
2. Lord, every system, policy, or protocol working against my destiny—let Your favour overturn them in my favour, in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, humble every Vashti standing in pride against my rising, and position me for divine enthronement.
4. Lord, keep me in humility, that I will not lose my crown by pride or disobedience.
5. O God of Esther, raise me from the dust, lift me from obscurity, and seat me among princes in Jesus’ mighty name.

DECLARATIONS
1. I declare that I am a candidate of God’s grace and favour.
2. By divine authority, I rise above protocols, traditions, and limitations.
3. Where men say it is impossible, God is making a way for me.
4. I shall not lose my crown through pride; I walk in humility and grace.
5. I am lifted from the ash heap to sit with princes, and my seat of honour shall not be taken from me
