DAY 11- DIVINE SUFFICIENT RESOURCE (Part 3)

DAY 11

DIVINE SUFFICIENT RESOURCE (Part 3)

“Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee” – 1 Kings 17:9.

Brethren! At any point in time when God places a compulsory demand on you, even when you don’t have enough to meet your own needs, it means He wants to enlarge your coast.

The Bible says, “Behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain you.” This woman, according to society, should have been provided for as a widow. With only a handful of flour left to eat with her son and die, she had no hope. Yet God asked her to release her last, so that her dependence would be on Him and not on the little she held.

Child of God, the lesson here is this: release that little in your hand that seems too small to sustain you, so that someone else may survive—and then Divinity will give you sufficient resources beyond your expectation.

The widow of Zarephath released her last hope, and God sustained her, her son, and even raised her son back to life through Elijah.

Similarly, after years of waiting, Abraham finally had Isaac, but when God wanted to make him father of nations, He demanded that same beloved son. Why? To test faithfulness and remind us: we are caretakers, not owners of what God entrusts to us. He can demand it at any time.

Beloved, remember: he who is not faithful in little will not be faithful in much.

🙏 Lord, I pray for total dependence on You and not on the little in my hands.
🙏 Test me, Lord, and help me be found faithful in both little and great things.
🙏 O God, enlarge my coast and let my obedience provoke divine sufficiency in my life.
