Day -10
DIVINE SUFFICIENT RESOURCE (Part 2)

“Get thee thence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan…. that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.” – 2 Kings 17:3–4

Beloved, the word of God is Yea and Amen. His words have been tried seven times and proven pure. Every instruction in God’s word should be held supreme, and all instructions given by a genuine servant of God should be observed. When God speaks, He brings it to pass.

God gave Elijah a specific instruction of where he should go—because two provisions awaited him if only he would obey.

Prior to this, Elijah had declared that there would be no rain for three and a half years. Yet God cannot send you where His grace will not sustain you.

Firstly, He told Elijah to hide by the brook and drink water from it. In other words, while there was no water anywhere else in the land, divinity provided for him.

Secondly, ravens were commanded to feed him. Although ravens are known as devouring birds, they could not harm Elijah, because the presence and grace of God covered him at the brook.

Elijah was to hide himself there because God is the secret Rewarder of those who diligently serve Him. And whenever God decides to remember you, He can use anything—because all things were made for His glory.

So, whenever you determine to make God your priority, He in turn makes you number one on His agenda.

Prayers
1. Father, thank You for being my all-sufficient resource in every season of life.
2. Lord, help me to obey Your instructions without questioning, knowing that provision always follows obedience.
3. O God, just as You sustained Elijah, sustain me and my household in times of scarcity.
4. Father, shield me from every devouring power that seeks to consume my blessings.
5. Lord, let Your presence and grace cover me wherever You have planted me.
