TOPIC: WHAT KEPT YOU AT A SPOT FOR SO LONG?

📖 “And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.” – John 5:5

Child of God, hear me: the man at the pool of Bethesda was bound for 38 long years. But beyond the infirmity, it was self-pity and constant complaining that chained him to that spot.

God hates murmuring! Complaining ties His hands and shuts the door of miracles. The Israelites are a clear example—about 600,000 men left Egypt, yet most of them never saw the Promised Land. Why? Because at every challenge they murmured, forgetting the miracles they had seen.

I came to tell you today: your condition is not permanent! Darkness does not last forever; every night gives way to morning. Don’t let self-pity become your prison. Don’t magnify your struggles as if your case is the worst. That is a trap of the enemy!

When you complain, you alert the adversary to your weakness. He celebrates your sorrow and afflicts you even more. Complaining delays your journey. It blinds you from seeing when your miracle is right in front of you. Remember: a journey of four days turned into forty years for Israel!

The man at the pool didn’t even recognize Jesus when He came. Murmuring made him blind to his solution. But mercy found him. I prophesy today—MERCY will find you in your situation, in the name of Jesus!

So instead of complaining, lift up your voice in thanksgiving. Instead of pity, put on praise. Your breakthrough is around the corner. Don’t delay your miracle by murmuring!

🔥 Lift your hand and declare: “I refuse to be stuck! I will not complain, I will not murmur, I will move forward by the mercy of God!”

🙏 Closing Prayer:

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for Your Word today. I ask for mercy wherever murmuring and self-pity have delayed my journey. By Your power, I break free from every stagnation. Lord, open my eyes to recognize my miracle when it comes. Let my mouth be filled with praise instead of complaints. From today, I move forward into my destiny, in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen.
